How to prepare Texas BBQ Brisket?

Methods:

STEP 1-

To cook the barbecue sauce, heat up the oil in a saucepan, and then grill onion and garlic for a few minutes until fuzzy. Include the other remaining of the sauce ingredients to the pan with a small pinch of salt and simmer for 20 minutes. You can also use a hand blender or food processor to whizz to an easy puré.
 
STEP 2-

Heat up in oven to 150C/130C fan/gas and then create the rub by combining all the ingredients together with a pinch of salt. Then rub the mix all over the beef and set aside.
 
STEP 3-

Within a big roasting tin, combine the beef stock and ½ the Texas BBQ Brisket sauce. Thereafter, add the brisket to the tin, pack firmly with foil, and then grill for 4-5 hrs until the meat is really gentle when you push a fork into it. You can also prepare this beef just a night before, leave it to cool in the tin covered with foil, but don’t refrigerate.
 
STEP 4-

To complete the beef, get a barbecue fired up and wait unless the coals are fully turned into ashes. You should keep a low, not fierce, heat. Take the beef out of the roasting tin and place on the barbecue to char. In case your barbecue has a lid, close it. Bake for about 20 minutes, rolling it carefully with tongs, until lightly charred all over and heated through. Put onto a board and serve sliced with the remaining barbecue sauce on the side.
